This lovely wide beam has been my happy home for 5 years. It has a living room, kitchen, bathroom, master bedroom and a spare room which could be used as a permanent second bedroom, guest room, office, storage or anything else, as you wish.
It has lovely wooden panelling throughout which gives the interior a warm, homely feel. As well as the Chelsea Duo wood burner, fitted 3 years ago, the boat has gas heating which can be set to heat the water, or the water and the radiators which are found in the living room, master bedroom, corridor and bathroom. There is a timer switch you can use to set either to come on automatically, this adds a bit of luxury in winter months and I've really appreciated being able to take the chill of the boat on cold mornings without having to make a fire or even get out of bed!
In the master bedroom the bed is fitted, it has 6 sets of fitted drawers and plenty more storage underneath the bed and in the 3 fitted cupboards.
The bathroom has a shower above bath and a Separett Villa composting loo.
The spare room can currently be set up as two separate seats or a small double/large single bed. Under these two seats are large storage spaces, the room also has a fitted cupboard.
Fitted kitchen looks into the living room.
Besides the wood burner, the living room has a sofa, a bureau and bookshelf, I'm happy to leave all of these or take them away, as you wish.
Please note, the curtains are homemade and I intend to take them with me, there are some cream curtains which came with the boat when i bought it and which I will put back up when i leave.
The roof provides extra storage, garden and/or sitting space, it has two 250w solar panels (500w total), which were fitted 4 years ago and provide plenty of power for almost the entire year.
There are spaces to sit at the bow and stern and a large amount of storage from three separate lockers at the bow.
The front doors at the bow are steel and newly fitted this year. Windows throughout are double glazed.
The engine is a Hyundai/Vetus 4.3 water cooled diesel engine. It was serviced, with oil and oil filter changed, and a new belt fitted in March this year.
The stainless steel water tank can hold 450 litres, which I've found lasts around 3-4 weeks for 2 people.
The two 13kg calor gas bottles are located at the stern in fitted gas lockers, one connects to the cooker and the other to the heater/water heater. I've appreciated having two, as if one has run out halfway through making dinner a quick changeover means dinner can still be a success!
The boat passed it's BSS in July 2017 and so has two years left on this.
The boat was blacked (Rytex) at Uxbridge Boat Centre and fitted with 4 new anodes in September 2019.
