Opportunity to own a traditional and characterful live-aboard narrow boat with modern furnishing and interior. The boat was entirely remodelled in 2017 with a brand-new interior fitted to create a functional and welcoming atmosphere.
Upon entering the boat via the front deck you arrive in the bright and comfortable living room, complete with a cosy sofa which transforms into a bed for guests. Opposite this is a seating area with storage underneath and the room also contains a desk for writing or studying. In pride of place in the living room sits a charming Charnwood stove that heats the boat in the winter.
The living room opens out into the kitchen, which has real wood worktops and complimentary white fixtures. The kitchen includes a gas hob and cooker and has the added bonus of a Marco F11 Boiler which heats the water throughout the boat. There is a delightful side hatch which opens fully to allow a scenic view of the water ways and bring in fresh air.
The walk-through bathroom maximises on space and even includes a charismatic Victorian roll-top bath with shower. The tiling and fitted sink have elegant character which gives the bathroom an overall stylistic finish. The bathroom has a cassette-style toilet.
The simplistic main bedroom complete with a small double bed which hosts ample underbed storage. A wardrobe sits along the opposite wall and the interior is white to give a bright and airy feel and leads onto the final area which is the engine room.
The engine room houses the Beta Kubota engine, batteries and the driving controls. It also houses the shore line connection and a 3000W 12v to 240 power inverter allowing for higher wattage appliances.
Extra appealing features include solid wood flooring throughout, underfloor storage in the kitchen, 3 solar panels which produce the majority of the electricity, 12V lighting throughout, 240V sockets, and a unique ‘graffiti’ style exterior.
