Selling my first Narrowboat as I'm upgrading to a widebeam with my partner :) The Natural Mystic was built in 1999 by G.J Reeves boat builders.

She has just been professionally blacked with premium bitumen, so won't need blacking again until Christmas 2022.

The Natural Mystic is a special boat, with real charm. I moved on as a single 28 year old wanting to own something of my own. Living on the canals has changed my life and I have loved every moment. She'll make a great home for someone or a young couple wanting to do the same.

-Boat Safety Certificate until April 2022.

-Powered by Volvo D22-55 four-cylinder keel cooled diesel engine producing 38-45hp coupled to a PRM 260 gearbox. Regularly serviced since owned. Starts every time, never had any trouble.

-Please note, the boat does not have a HIN number. I recommend reading up on this if interested in the boat, it isn't actually an issue as myself as well as previous owner all bought boat knowing this, it does not effect insurance etc.

-12V and 240v electrics throughout, with 2500W Pure Sine inverter. 3 new(ish) leisure and 1 starter batteries. 4 large solar panels mean you don't need to run engine at all for over half the year!

-Heating provided by multi-fuel Morso Squirrel Stove, fitted just 3 years ago. Hot water from calorifier, with option to use an Eberschaber immersion heater (this isn't currently working as I didn't find it helpful, but can be easily fixed if needed).

Entering through the stern door, we come into the newly fitted kitchen with large butler sink and gas hob/oven, a Hotpoint vertical washing machine (great for cold-washes), and plenty of cupboard space for storage. An overhead houdini hatch brings in lots of light, and is placed over the cooker so that the steam can escape when cooking.

The living area has space for a large 3 seater sofa, with extra space for a dining area (currently used an office space). A book shelf opposite the sofa has space for a 20-30" TV.

Bathroom has large bathtub and shower. Thetford casette toilet with spare cassette. Water tank capacity unclear, but on average lasts for 4/5 weeks with one person taking regular showers and washing up. Two people lasts 2/3 weeks at the same rate.

Bedroom has modified double bed, plenty of space for two people. Large wardrobe with shelf at the back provide masses of space for clothes. Extra storage space under bed for deep storage.
