Avon/Kennet & Avon Bristol UK|
I am selling my 39ft liveaboard narrowboat. A historic riveted hull, thought to have been built in 1936 by Harland & Wolff. Originally a butty which has since been converted to a fully kitted-out steel-top liveaboard boat. Unique character and look thanks to the historic hull. 7ft beam gives a good wide living space slightly wider than most modern narrowboats. Bright and airy open plan living area with a cosy cabin.
Front cabin area:
Hunter multifuel stove
Long storage bench
Wooden floorboards throughout main living area
Currently has a sofa-bed for additional 2 berths
3 way gas/12v/240v Fridge
Gas oven and 4 burner gas hob
Instant Morco Gas Water Heater
Ample kitchen cupboard space
Thetford Cassette Toilet
Fold down ¾ bed with fitted mattress over engine room
2 x 110ah batteries (1 x leisure and 1 x engine)

295w Large Solar Panel with custom tilting brackets to increase angle up to ~80 degrees
20 Amp MPPT Solar Charge Controller (Suitable capacity for additional panels)
Sterling shoreline battery charger and battery condition system
Whale water pump giving powerful shower output

Water - Internal water tank filled from back deck. Around 1000 litre capacity.
Gas - Gas locker on back deck with space for main gas canister and a spare backup
Diesel – Diesel tank filled from back deck
Boat Safety Certificate valid until 28th September 2021
Comprehensive paperwork on all work carried out by current and previous owner
The last hull survey was completed before I purchased the boat and the hull was found to be in good condition. I will be booking the boat in to be taken out of the water. The hull will be blacked and this cost will be deducted from the sale price. I am doing this so that the buyer can complete a hull survey with their own surveyor without the need for the additional expense of craning the boat out again.
Currently moored near Bristol. If you are looking for a boat for London I would also consider delivery to London waterways at cost moving by water, the boat has also been moved my road in the past and I can advise on associated costs (previous journeys cost £400-600) if you are interested.
