New in 2013, Meander has certainly had a very easy life as can be seen by the internal condition and the low engine hours. With a cabin length of 50ft and only four berths (the forward saloon sofa bed could also accommodate two children), this is a very spacious boat indeed. When two couples are cruising together, each have access during the night to toilet facilities without disturbing the other crew members, with the aft master bedroom having what could be described as an en-suite. The cook aboard Meander will enjoy the large galley which is complete with both a full size cooker and a microwave oven, with plenty of worktop space for dishing up meals. For laundry days there is a full size washing machine, cleverly hidden away in its own compact utility cupboard. Power for the washing machine and any other small appliances when away from a landline is provided by a 3kW inverter with a 440Ah battery bank maintained by a 240A engine alternator. A sophisticated Python-Drive claimed by the manufacturers to reduce vibration, coupled to a powerful 45hp engine with ‘hospital- type’ silencer, along with a bow thruster, should make cruising in difficult situations, quiet and stress free.
