Description

Polly is a classic piece of boating history. With a steel hull built circa 1890. At 40ft she has been a British Waterways working boat for most of her life and latterly since 1970 a pleasure craft. The cabin was converted circa 1965 to provide a spacious living area and a forward bedding cabin. The timber cabin will need attention. Facilities include a comfortable bathroom and a galley as part of the main living area. 1600CC BMC engine, petrol. HAs an integral diesel tank for conversion. Piranha pine wooden cabin. New base plate fitted in 2000. Engine marinised by Newage.
Ideal project for the narrow boat enthusiast. Polly is a project boat and needs love and attention, but a great investment.
