Reference: | 2094 Adanuff |
Adanuff is a lovely 66’ trad stern narrowboat built in 2007 by Jonathan Wilson. She has been fitted out by Anthony M to a high standard, using light painted ply with solid oak trim throughout. The current owner, a carpenter by trade, has improved on the original build with extra storage added.
She has been well cared for, and benefits from 2 pack Epoxy blacking in September 2023, and the engine was serviced last in January 2024.
The cratch covered well deck features lockers either side, and access to the Vetus bowthruster below.
Steps lead down into the forward cabin, currently set up as a child’s bedroom. There is a 4’6” x 2’3” single bed, and an incredible amount of storage (24 shelves, 5 cupboards and 17 drawers!).
Next is the 8’8” saloon, with a fixed bench sofa with reclining back, 12v Cello TV/DVD, Hunter Hawk solid fuel stove, and more drawers.
Opposing split dinettes follow, with each side seating 2, and converts easily to 2 single berths. With an additional central insert this could be modified to become a double berth if required.
The 7’ galley features granite worktops, a Belfast sink, Belling combined oven & grill, Miele 4 burner gas hob, 12v Swan fridge with icebox, and more cupboards and drawers.
Next is the 5’10” walkthrough bathroom, with a brand new china bowl Thetford cassette loo, copper bowl sink, more granite, and a quadrant corner shower with tiled surround.
Following, the 11’9” bedroom features a fixed 6’4” x 4’1” double berth, storage under, a very large double wardrobe, and a Stovak Brunel mulitfuel stove.
There is no separation between the bedroom and the engine room, with the Beta B43 engine housed beneath the aft steps. The heat from the stove can be felt out on the stern deck when cruising.
Side hatches, with demountable screens, in the saloon and dinette, as well as Houdini hatches in the forward cabin and over the galley, bring in lots of additional light and fresh air.
She is centrally heated by a Webasto diesel fired system connected to 4 radiators, and hot water is via the Webasto, engine or immersion.
12v power is via 4x 150ah domestics with a separate starter and bowthruster battery, topped up by an estimated 500w of solar with 2x Victron MPPT solar charge controllers. 240v power is via a Victron Multiplus 3000w inverter/charger, or landline.
Lighting on board is LED throughout, including low level spot lights.
If you’ve ‘adanuff of bricks and mortar, or just looking to spend lots more time on the water, this boat could be for you!
