Flow is a charming 40’ narrowboat built in 1986 by Peter Nicholls. She is in lovely condition and with the space and facilities that she offers, will make a perfect holiday home or liveaboard in areas where moorings and few and far between.
She benefits from a recent service, a full survey from 2017 and she was last blacked in 2018.
The stern deck is protected by a pramhood, under which sits the Vetus engine with only 2,800 hours on the clock. Steps lead down into the galley. This is well equipped with a fridge, freezer, washing machine, stainless steel sink, 4 burner gas hob, oven & grill and ample storage.
The saloon follows, compact but cosy. The Morso Squirrel stove has a back boiler, there is a wall mounted JVC TV, a new 3 seater sofabed and a cupboard & shelves.
A sliding door leads into the bathroom. The loo is a composting arrangement, the basin is ceramic & there is a good sized shower cubicle.
The forward cabin is the main bedroom. The fixed double is 6’x4’ and offers a lot of storage underneath with cupboards over and a bank of drawers at the foot of the bed. Steps lead out onto the front deck which is covered by a cratch cover (new in 2019) and has a glazed cratch board. Good head room in here at about 5’10”.
She is well equipped; she has 290w of solar power, she is centrally heated by an Eberspacher, hot water is from the engine, the back boiler, the Eberspacher or an immersion heater, the batteries were new in 2017. She has a 1600w Victron inverter and also a Galvanic Isolator.
A really sweet little boat and ready to go.
