Boatshed Essex are pleased to present this superbly refined, highly specified Princess V48 Deck Saloon.  The V 48 is an all weather vessel with the design and capacity to cope at sea when needed and provide a luxurious platform for socialising and relaxing in the marina or at anchor.  The list of specifications for this boat is long and we would encourage you to contact us with any query you may have, but some of the essentials include Volvo's IPS drive system, the Williams 325 Sportsjet rib and launch system, the 'fly by wire' navigation system, a cockpit BBQ and the luxurious internal space.  

Power is delivered by two 435hp Volvo engines, renowned for performance and fuel efficiency, actually providing 600 HP each, in smaller units, thereby enhancing accommodation space.  This power is fed through the IPS od drive system, ultimately controlled through the simplicity of a joystick, providing incredible ease in manoeuvring the boat and channelling the power when underway.  Some of this ease of control comes through the unique way the system features forward facing propellers and the ability to articulate them through 28 degrees, in either direction. 

On deck is the Williams rib and launching system from the stern, which is just aft of the spacious cockpit with electric BBQ and plenty of seating.  Through the companionway is a luxurious saloon with stylish stowage and a large dining area and table, equally suitable for more relaxed social gatherings.  Over to starboard is the helm area, complemented by leather bucket seats and an advanced selection of electronic navigation systems and of course, the controls for the POD drive system.  Down below is a fully sized and equipped galley featuring a large fridge freezer, oven and hob, all conveniently sited next to the lower dining area.  Both the master and forward cabins feature en-suite facilities, with showers and electric toilets.  The forward en-suite cabin has excellent all round space for crew and guests and has the cleverly designed ability to offer both a twin or double berth arrangement.
