Successfully selling boats since 1995, ABNB's constant aim is to provide the standard of service of yesteryear which is so often missing in today's self-centered hectic lifestyle and our commitment to providing a friendly, professional service is second to none.

Our collective boating experience encompasses all aspects of the cut and it is difficult to envisage an area of the canal world in which we wouldn't be able to offer you constructive advice and support, be it realising your dream or hanging up your windlasses.

ABNB started life as the brainchild of Andy Burnett whilst he was the Technical Editor of Waterways World, the popular magazine still at the forefront today. In the early 90's brokers would only sell boats that were taken to their sales base but many vendors were reluctant to abandon their pride and joy, even though they were selling. ABNB pioneered and perfected selling boats from their home moorings which enabled the vendors to participate in the sales process, an opportunity welcomed by many. As the business grew, Crick Wharf became the home of ABNB, enabling boats to also be sold from Crick.

ABNB moved to purpose built offices within North Kilworth Marina in 2021 providing a one-stop shop for buyers and sellers.

MYSTIQUE • 56ft 4in, Semi-Trad, 2 + 1 Berth (REVERSE Layout)
Mystique is built and fitted out by Narrowcraft who are known for their highly skilled workmanship in the famous Gdansk boatyard in Poland. The clean, smartly crafted details of steelwork and oak joinery match the best that British builders produce; while equipment spec is reassuringly familiar. Contemporary, yet maintaining a traditional feel, the REVERSE layout is complemented by solid granite worktops. Home comforts onboard are provided by Eberspacher diesel central heating, with a diesel stove in the aft saloon. A separate diesel tank for heating is located at the stern. For yo... read more

FOXTERRIER • 69ft 4in, Cruiser Stern, 6 + 3 Berth (Ex-Hire)
Foxterrier has been finished to a good standard by Devizes Narrowboat Builders on a shell from Liverpool Boats who were one of the canals most popular production builders for thirty years. Being an ex hire boat, not only will maintenance have been a priority, but she is ideal for a family or a group of friends to purchase, due to the amount of berths (nine in total) onboard. The berth arrangement is three doubles (one aft, one fwd, one make-up) and three singles, two of which are bunk beds. To cater for large crews, there is a shower room and a bathroom onboard. Foxterrier holds the... read more

ANDICRAFT NEW BUILD • 57ft 11in, Semi-Trad, 2 Berth (REVERSE Layout)
We are delighted to broker this brand new boat from local builder Andicraft Fabrications. Principal Andy Thompson has produced over 400 shells, all built with precision in a well equipped workshop. Un-named as of yet, she is very competitively priced, benefitting from a high specification and completed in the popular REVERSE layout style. The fit-out is in solid oak with attention to detail throughout and thoughtful use of space for storage. We particularly like the pull out cupboards adjacent to the quadrant shower – a space which is often left void by boatbuilders. Home comforts i... read more

SULIS • 58ft 0in, Traditional, 2 + 0 Berth
We are familiar with this narrowboat having sold it previously in 2020, although she looks completely different now having been renamed and re-painted. Sulis is built to last with 12.5/8/5 plating, along with the detail and quality that comes with a Roger Farrington build. Neatly boxed in beneath the steerer’s step you will find the larger than average 55hp Isuzu engine, made quieter by the hospital silencer. Home comforts are provided by the diesel fired central heating, along with a solid fuel stove, with hot water heated by engine, boiler and immersion. 230V power, when away f... read more

LUCY KATE • 57ft 2in, Cruiser Stern, 2 + 2 Berth
RCD paperwork shows that the hull was completed in 2012 by J D Narrowboats at Shardlow. However she was not launched until 2016 when the fit out by Aurora Narrowboats who were based in Chesterfield, was finished. Lucy Kate is in a REVERSE layout style, featuring a forward master bedroom with full size double bed. The bed is removable should you wish to revert back to installing a cross bed to allow access to the bow doors. A walk-through shower room is equipped with a composting wc, quadrant shower and a corner vanity unit. The mid-ships walk-through galley has gas cooking, under coun... read more

LONGFELLOW • 55ft 1in, Traditional, 2 + 2 Berth
Reading Marine has a stellar reputation for crafting high quality boats cherished by their owners, and Longfellow is no exception, having had only two owners since new. Constructed entirely from oak, she features a traditional layout with a cosy forward saloon, an L-shaped dinette, and an aft bedroom. The dinette allows her to comfortably accommodate up to four people, though she is ideal for two. The mid-ships bathroom includes a shower over the bath and a pump-out toilet. At just over 55 feet in length, she is well-suited for navigating the entire canal and river system, powered by a 3... read more

LILY THE THIRD • 35ft 0in, Traditional, 2+2 Berth
If you have always dreamt of owning your own narrowboat, but spiralling prices have always got in the way, then Lily The Third might just be the boat you thought you would never obtain. Admittedly at this price you are not going to get all the bells, whistles and modern appliances that most boats these days come equipped with, but as they say, sometimes, less is more! Lily the Third can accommodate four people, with a make-up double in the saloon. When plugged in to a landline, hot water can be provided by the immersion. Whilst out cruising or on the towpath, hot water is heated by the engi... read more
