Boat Overview Lara is a 54ft long reverse layout, cruiser stern, narrowboat built by South West Durham Steel Craft in 2004. She is fitted with a Beta Marine 35HP inboard diesel engine and has 3 berths. South West Durham Steel Craft have a good reputation on the waterways for building robust craft, as many of their boats are used in hire fleets. Lara is a Castle Craft model.
