This 1987 Peter Nicholls narrowboat was commissioned and built for a schoolmaster and used as a holiday boat until 2016 when we bought it and refitted it as a liveaboard / for continuous cruising. We have added a cratch cover, solar installation (4x85w panels plus MPPT cont), 12v fridge, inverter and new calorifier, as well as repairing and updating other systems including inbuilt speakers, multifuel stove (Morso squirrel) and the Thorneycroft T105 engine.
We have now had a baby and can no longer liveaboard, so sadly are selling this, the first home we ever owned.

Nelwyn is a 56 foot Cruiser stern built by Peter Nichols in 1998 and extended to its current 56 feet in 2001 by Mark Bagnall.
Unusually for a narrowboat Nelwyn has a tiller but also hydraulic wheel steering.

The boat has had two owners since built, being custom made for the first owners. Last surveyed in April 2015, the same year new solar panels and inverter where fitted and the water tank was cleaned and treated professionally.
Last blacked in September 2017 and two more anodes fitted.
